There’s much talk around at the moment about whether the recession is over and if we are seeing the first green shoots of recovery.

That’s about as far as most media commentators get. But different countries, different regions, different industrial sectors and different companies will all move in and out of recession at different times.

And, what does the ‘end of the recession’ actually mean? Will we be back to summer 2007 levels of business just like that, or will the return to prosperity be a long, slow struggle?
